To those unaware, the King of Hearts is in some circles referred to as “the Suicide King” because of the way the king drives the sword through his head.

Cause its the 13th card, and the original King depicted on the design being the only Monarch alive to witness the cards being made, following his unfortunate early demise afterwards (among other coincidences). The card is shrouded in myth and conspiracy by the superstitious folk and is often associated with bad luck and death.
